At Lily Mental Health, we believe that mental well-being is more than just managing symptoms—it’s about nurturing the mind, body, and spirit for lasting balance. Our approach blends modern psychiatry with holistic, integrative care, ensuring that you receive support tailored to your unique journey.
We specialize in Integrative & Nutritional Psychiatry, recognizing the profound connection between mental health and physical well-being. From Perinatal & Women’s Health/Reproductive Psychiatry, where we support women through all stages of hormonal and emotional changes, to Psychiatric Evaluations & Medication Management, designed to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment—we’re here to guide you toward a healthier, more fulfilled life.
At Lily Mental Health, we take the time to listen, understand, and create personalized plans that empower you to thrive. Whether through nutritional guidance, mindfulness strategies, or medication management, we strive to treat the whole person—not just the diagnosis.
At my practice, my mission is to empower individuals to achieve optimal mental well-being through a compassionate, holistic approach. I specialize in women’s reproductive and integrative mental health, providing personalized care that blends traditional psychiatric treatments with lifestyle modifications, nutritional guidance, and stress management. I am committed to walking alongside my patients as an ally, offering support and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where lasting, meaningful change can occur. My goal is to help you not only manage your mental health, but to thrive, finding balance and resilience in every aspect of your life.
Hi, I’m Julie, and I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I’ve been working in mental health and psychiatry since 2011, and throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health. My experience is diverse, including over 5 years working in corrections, 4.5 years at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, as well as experience in inpatient psychiatric, substance use treatment centers, and outpatient treatment and medication management. This broad range of experiences has shaped my compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, and I truly enjoy working with diverse populations, tailoring my care to meet the unique needs of each individual.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, and taking a holistic approach to mental well-being. I completed my undergraduate nursing degree at Ohio University in 2016 and my Master of Science in Nursing at The Ohio State University in 2022. My specialty is in women’s reproductive and integrative mental health, and I’m a certified perinatal mental health provider through Postpartum Support International. I’ve also completed a fellowship in reproductive and integrative psychiatry and continuing education through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. I also provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and mood disorders at all stages of life. I enjoy working with diverse populations and take a compassionate, individualized approach to every patient’s care.
I am deeply passionate about specializing in women’s perinatal and reproductive mental health because I understand the unique challenges that women face during these critical stages of life. The transition through pregnancy, postpartum, and other reproductive phases can be overwhelming, and too often, there is conflicting information and a lack of clear guidance available to women who are seeking help. This gap in support and knowledge is what drives my dedication to becoming an expert in this field.
Having witnessed firsthand the struggles women experience with mental health during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond, I am committed to providing compassionate care that is not only informed by the latest research but also grounded in empathy and understanding. My goal is to be a trusted resource for women who feel confused or unsupported in their mental health journey. I want to help them navigate these complex challenges with confidence, offering clear, evidence-based guidance and a holistic approach to ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve.
By specializing in this area, I aim to fill that gap, offering personalized, thoughtful, and accessible mental health care for women at every stage of their reproductive journey. I believe every woman deserves to feel supported, understood, and empowered in her mental health, and I am committed to being a reliable ally and expert in this important field. While my approach is holistic, it’s important to note that I specialize in psychiatry and do not offer hormone replacement therapy through my practice.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. While medication is an important tool, I also incorporate lifestyle modifications, nutritional psychiatry, stress management, and mindset shifts to help my patients achieve long-term wellness. By addressing root causes and underlying imbalances, I work to empower individuals to move beyond symptom management and into a place of balance, resilience, and lasting well-being.
Having faced my own challenges with anxiety, depression, and substance use, I truly understand how difficult it can be to take the first step toward healing. This experience motivates me to be an ally to my patients, providing a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My goal is to work with you, empowering you to create lasting change and find balance in your life.
Outside of my work, I am passionate about family, personal growth, and animals. My practice name, Lily Mental Health, was inspired by one of my beloved rescue dogs, symbolizing compassion, resilience, and the joy that comes from healing. I share my home with my husband and three rescue dogs who bring me joy every day. I love spending time with my family and recharging near the water—whether it’s swimming, floating, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze.
If you’re looking for a provider who offers a comprehensive, integrative approach to mental health—whether for perinatal and reproductive concerns or other mental health challenges—I’d love to work with you. Let’s create a treatment plan that supports your mental wellness and helps you thrive at every stage of life.
I see adults ages 18-65 and offer early morning, evening, and weekend appointments to accommodate your schedule. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.

I had been seeing different providers for years, but no one took the time to truly understand the root causes of my anxiety like Julie did. She introduced me to nutritional psychiatry, and her thoughtful approach to medication management has completely transformed my mental health. I finally feel like I’m on the right path.
